一般描述
硫酸精蛋白(PS)是一种带正电荷的聚阳离子型蛋白，[1]主要由聚L-精氨酸组成。[2]它来源于鲑鱼精子蛋白。[1]
应用
硫酸精蛋白盐（来自鲑鱼）已用于制备精蛋白二氧化硅纳米复合材料。[3]
与由Esterquat-1组成的具有可比性的固体脂质纳米颗粒（SLN）相比，SLN形式的鱼精蛋白可更有效地促进质粒DNA的转染，而且细胞毒性更低。
可用于从蛋白样品中去除DNA或用于纯化DNA结合蛋白。可用作逆转录病毒介导的基因转移中聚凝胺的替代物。

生化/生理作用
硫酸精蛋白在心血管外科手术中优选用于逆转肝素的抗凝作用。[4]因其生物可降解性，可用于生物医疗和生物技术应用。[2]
硫酸鱼精蛋白是一种可与 DNA 结合并产生沉淀的小阳离子蛋白。它能中和肝素的抗凝血活性，还可抑制脂蛋白脂肪酶。
