NPFF has been shown to have wider effects, including elevation of arterial blood pressure and somatostatin secretion from the pancreas as well as anorexigenic effects. NPFF potentiates and sensitizes ASIC1 and ASIC3 channels. NPFF binds to NPFF1 and NPFF2 receptors. |
