This product is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.Clone 8CD6 Form Tissue Culture Supernatant (in PBS; no preservatives or carrier proteins) Host Mouse IsoType Apo-D (GCDFP-24) Monoclonal Antibody (SIGNET)IgG1 [Ab] 1 mg/mL Specificity The anti-APO-D antibody, clone 8CD6, recognizes Apolipoprotein-D, a 24 kDa progesterone binding glycoprotein.
This antibody was generated against APO-D, a progesterone binding glycoprotein of 24,000 dalton monomer molecular size.Uses This antibody is effective in immunoblotting, immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA. Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. - Western: 1:1,000-1:10,000
- IHC: 1:200 for biotin based detection systems such as USA Ultrastreptavidin Detection (SIG-32250)
Tissue Sections: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues
Pretreatment: For optimal staining, the sections should be pretreated with an antigen unmasking solution such as Retrieve-All 1 (SIG-31910) or Sodium Citrate (SIG-31932)
Incubation: 20-60 min at room temperature
Storage Store at -20°C or below. Upon initial thawing, apportion into working aliquots and store at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to prevent denaturing the antibody.
