Purified Monoclonal Antibody against Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF)

Analytical and performance characteristics are not established.Clone VG-1 Form Purified Antibody (in 0.01M PBS + 0.1% NaN3 + 1% BSA) Host Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) Monoclonal Antibody, Purified (SIGNET)Mouse Species Reactivity Human IsoType IgG1 Specificity Signet’s Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) antibody detects the 121, 165, and 185 VEGF isoforms in routinely fixed specimens. VEGF is a 19-22kDa angiogenic growth factor that promotes the formation of new blood vessels. VG-1 is useful for studies of VEGF and angiogenesis in human tissues.
This antibody was generated against a recombinant VEGF protein.

Both are ready-to-use with either a Biotin-based (USA Ultra Streptavidin Detection, SIG-32250) or Biotin-free (AcuityAdvanced Polymer Detection, SIG-32902) detection systems.Uses Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) Monoclonal Antibody, Purified (SIGNET)This antibody is effective in immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. - IHC: ≥1:40 (concentrated format) when used with Biotin based detection systems such as USA Ultra Streptavidin Detection (SIG-32250).
Tissue Sections: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues
Pretreatment: Heat induced epitope retrieval with 0.1M EDTA.
Incubation: 60 minutes at room temperature
