Monoclonal Antibody against Bcl-2 Oncoprotein
(Formerly Signet Catalog No: 352-26 L2 Predilute)Intended Use ** In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) ** Clone 124 Form Tissue Culture Supernatant (in 0.01M PBS + 0.1% NaN3 + 1% BSA) Host Mouse Species Reactivity Human IsoType Bcl-2 Oncoprotein Monoclonal Antibody (SIGNET)IgG Specificity The Signet anti-bcl-2 oncoprotein monoclonal antibody recognizes a membrane protein found near the nuclear envelope, endoplasmic reticulum and outer mitochondrial membrane which has been associated with the negative regulation of apoptosis, a common form of cell death in multicellular organisms. In normal tissue the Signet bcl-2 stains T-cells and mantle zones of tonsil and lymph node, as well as red pulp of spleen.
This antibody was developed using the 26 kDa bcl-2 Oncoprotein.

Tissue Sections: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues
Pretreatment: For optimal staining, the sections should be pretreated with an antigen unmasking solution such as Retrieve-All 1 (SIG-31910).
Incubation: 60 minutes at room temperature
