Specificity
The P1H12 monoclonal antibody was generated against human unbiblical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). CD146 is a cell surface marker specific to human endothelial cells and is also known by the names MUC18, MCAM and Mel-CAM. It has been used to identify circulating endothelial cells in the human blood via flow cytometry.
Uses
CD146 Monoclonal Antibody This antibody is effective in immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF) and ELISA.
Suggested Working Dilution
The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition.
IF: 1:1,000
IP: 1:150
Storage
Store at -20°C. Upon initial thawing, apportion into working aliquots and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to prevent denaturing the antibody. For long-term storage, keep the antibody at -80°C.
