背景 Hematopoietic progenitor cell antigen CD34(CD34) is a monomeric cell surface antigen with a molecular mass of approximately 110 kDa that is selectively expressed on human hematopoietic progenitor cells. CD34 is a heavily glycosylated type I transmembrane molecule, that can be phoshorylated by a variety of kinases including Protein kinase C and Tyrosine kinases. CD34 is hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells possess the potentials of self-renewal, proliferation, and differentiation toward different lineages of blood cells. It is highly expressed on hematopoietic progenitor, as well as on endothelial cells, brain, and testis.Synonyms: Hematopoietic progenitor cell antigen CD34, Hematopoietic progenitor cell marker
