MYCOPLASMA REMOVAL AGENT

Mycoplasma Removal Agent (MRA) from MP offers a highly effective solution for the serious problem of mycoplasma contamination in cell cultures. MRA is a derivative of the quinoline family of antibiotics and eliminates mycoplasma infection (recommended use at a concentration of 0.5 m g/ml) by inhibiting mycoplasma DNA gyrase. MRA is supplied as a ready-to-use solution and each vial can decontaminate up to 25 cell cultures. MRA has been cited by the European Collection of Animal Cell Cultures (Porton Down, U.K.) as being superior to all other current products for the eradication of mycoplasma.
