L-苹果酸：NAD + 氧化还原酶
L-苹果酸脱氢酶是一种核基因产物，由 24 个氨基酸末端的信号肽合成。这种肽在酶转运至线粒体基质的过程中被蛋白水解裂解。
应用
来自猪心脏的L-苹果酸脱氢酶已用于测量PEPCK（磷酸烯醇bing酮酸羧化激酶）活性。PEPCK生产的草酰乙酸可通过NADH氧化而还原为苹果酸，然后使用分光光度计在340 nm处进行测定。该酶还用于通过在340 nm处光谱测定NADH的还原来测量草酰乙酸。
生化/生理作用
猪心脏中的L-苹果酸脱氢酶将L-苹果酸氧化催化为草酰乙酸。该酶是一种在三羧酸循环中起作用的NAD依赖性线粒体脱氢酶。它是苹果酸-天冬氨酸转运蛋白的组成部分，以苹果酸形式跨内线粒体膜运输还原当量。
