The CMV enhancer and CMV promoter carried by the plasmid can jointly initiate the efficient expression of the mouse DHCR7 gene, promoting the C-terminal fusion expression of the DHCR7 gene with a 3×Myc tag, facilitating the identification and tracking of the Myc-tagged target protein in experiments such as Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, or immunofluorescence, thereby studying the expression level, subcellular localization, and interactions with other proteins of the target protein. The plasmid carries a Neo/G418 resistance gene for screening host cells expressing the target gene.
