Formulation:
A collection of 758 antibiotics supplied as pre-dissolved Solutions or Solid
Solution: 722 compounds supplied in 10 mM solution, 22 compounds supplied in 2 mM solution, 14 compounds supplied in 3 mg/mL solution.
Layout:
96-well storage tube or 96-well plate: 1st and 12th column are left empty.
384-well plate: the first two columns and the last two columns are left empty.
Compounds with different concentrations or dissolved in different solvents will be put on separate plates. This way of layout may increase the number of plates because there could be three solvents and three concentrations.

文献和实验一种由微生物所产生的特殊的次生代谢有机物。既不参与细胞结构,也不是细胞的贮存养料;对产生菌本身无害,但对其他微生物则有专一的作用;在有效浓度很低的情况下,能够抑制敏感菌种的生长和代谢活性或使其致死。现已报道的几千种抗生素,按结构可分为6个类型:(1)糖的衍生物,主要由氨基己糖的衍生物组成,如链霉素;(2)多肽类抗生素,主要或全部由氨基酸组成,有多肽或蛋白质的某些特性,如多粘菌素、青霉素;(3)多烯类抗生素,分子结构中有多个双键,如制霉菌素、两性霉素;(4)大环内酯抗生素
氨基糖苷抗生素 aminoglycoside antibiotics
含氨基糖的一组抗生素,链霉素为其代表。由链霉菌( Streptomyces)产生的其他的氨基糖苷抗生素有卡那霉素、新霉素及巴龙霉素等。都与 30S核糖体亚单位相结合,引起 m RNA之密码误读,从而抑制细菌的蛋白质活体合成。
于抗微生物类药(an-timicrobial drugs)或抗感染药(anti-infective drugs)。 抗生素是抗菌药不太恰当的旧称。 虽是如此,国内外都有人认为,如此将抗生素和抗菌药进行严格区分已无多大意义,因为原来来源于微生物的抗生素现在大都来源于人工合成或半合成,因此主张凡是抑制细菌生长繁殖或杀灭细菌的药物都可称之为抗生素或抗菌药,比如不列颠百科辞典就把喹诺酮类列为抗生素(antibiotics)。但早期抗菌药磺胺类一般按习惯仍称为抗菌药,而不称抗生素
