The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAlease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL1038 recognizes the human CD117 (c-kit) antigen, also known as SCF receptor, which is a 145 kDa receptor tyrosine kinase that is involved in stem cell signaling, activation, and proliferation. The CD117 (c-kit) antigen is expressed on about 1–3% of mononuclear cells from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or cord blood, and on up to 10% of bone marrow cells. CD117 (c-kit) is further expressed on basophils, myeloid dendritic cells, TCRα/β+ T cells, CD19+ B cells, and CD56+ NK cells, as well as on mast cells, melanocytes, and AML (acute myeloid leukemia) blasts. | The REAlease Kits consist of the respective fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes and the REAlease Support Kit for removal of the REAlease Complexes and optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes. |
