Identification and enumeration of CD85f (ILT11)+ cells by flow cytometryClone REA763 recognizes the human CD85f antigen, which is also known as ILT11, LIR9, or LILRA5. CD85f belongs to the LIR family, which is a group of immunoglobulin-like receptors that have activating and inhibitory functions in leukocytes. CD85f is expressed as a membrane-bound receptor and as a secreted molecule on tissues of the hematopoietic system, e.g., bone marrow, spleen, lymph node, and peripheral leukocytes. Expression is mainly found on monocytes and neutrophils, but not in T cells, B cells, or natural killer (NK) cells. It is suggested, that CD85f may be play a role in triggering innate immune responses. | Additional information: Clone REA763 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
