Identification and enumeration of CD309 (VEGFR-2)+ cells by flow cytometryClone REA1116 recognizes CD309, a receptor tyrosine kinase of the class 3 subfamily also known as vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2), kinase insert domain receptor (KDR), or fetal liver kinase-1 (Flk-1). CD309 plays an important role in angiogenesis, vascular and endothelial processes, as well as in embryonic hematopoiesis and promotes reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton. CD309 (VEGFR-2) is expressed on embryonic and adult endothelial cells and endothelial progenitor cells. | Additional information: Clone REA1116 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
