Identification and enumeration of CD200R3+ cells by flow cytometryClone REA128 recognizes the human CD200R3 antigen. CD200R is an approximately 33 kDa single-pass type I membrane-protein which is a disulfide-linked dimer on the cell surface. It is reported, that the four different isoforms of CD200R (CD200R1, CD200R2, CD200R3, CD200R4) bind to CD200 (OX-2) as ligand. CD200 is primarily expressed on myeloid cells but also expressed on T and B lymphocytes. The combination of CD200R and CD200 inhibits mast cell degranulation, promotes macrophage activation, and decreases the activation of lymphocytes. | Additional information: Clone REA128 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
