Detection of Cyclin B1+ cellsClone REA1431 recognizes human Cyclin B1, a member of the cyclin family. It is encoded by the CCNB1 gene and functions as a regulatory protein involved in mitosis. Cyclin B1 is necessary for the control of the G2/M transition phase of the cell cycle. In addition Cyclin B1 is an essential protein that is thought to be responsible for most of actions of Cdk1 in the cytoplasm and nucleus. Cyclin B1 is found to be overexpressed in primary breast and cervical cancer cells as well as in cancer cell lines. |
