Detection of Cyclin A2+ cellsClone REA1440 recognizes the human protein Cyclin A2, which belongs to the cyclin family, that members function as regulators for the activity of the Cyclin-dependent protein kinases. Cyclin A plays a role in the regulation of the cell cycle and is important for S and M phase, thus Cyclin A is used as a marker for actively proliferating cells and for cells in S phase. Cyclin A is found in dividing cells, e.g. several leukemic cell lines, in testis and brain. REA951 does not cross-react with other cyclins or Cyclin A1. |
