Detection of mouse plasmacytoid dendritic cells, monocytes, and memory T cellsLy-6C is a 14-17 kDa GPI-linked cell surface antigen that belongs to the Ly-6 family of murine surface glycoproteins. It is expressed on monocytes in the bone marrow and shortly after their migration into the circulation. Moreover, Ly-6C is expressed on memory T cells and CD11lowCD45R(B220)+ mPDCA1+ plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) in different organs.
