The marker and uidA are divergently transcribed, and can be easily removed or replaced. [1] The order of the major features of this plasmid is: EcoRI – pAnos – SstI – uidA – SmaI – XbaI – SalI – HindIII – Pnos – BglII – hpt – BamHI – pAg7 – T-DNA – BglII – RK2 ori – kanR. [1] Vector contains the following restriction sites (approximate kb from the HindIII site): BamHI–1.7; EcoRI–11.7; SstI–12.0.
