Description Monoclonal Antibody against Neuronal Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor, α1, α5 and α3 Subunits Intended Use **Research Use Only (RUO)**
This product is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.Clone 210 Form Ascites Host Rat Species Reactivity Neuronal Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor, α1, α5 and α3 Subunits, Monoclonal AntibodyHuman, Dog, Rodent, Chicken IsoType IgG1 [Ab] 3-4 mg/mL Specificity This antibody was generated in rats against bovine and mouse muscle nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (AChRs). It binds to the main immunogenic region (MIR) on the extracellular surface of muscle AChR α1 subunit. The antibody also binds to the α3 and α5 subunits of human neuronal AChRs. This monoclonal antibody binds the α1 subunit weakly when the protein is denatured. It can detect the α3 and α5 subunit native form only and therefore does not detect these two subunits in immunoblotting. It does not cross-react with Xenopus. Uses This antibody is effective in immunoprecipitation, immunoblotting and immunofluorescence. Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. - Western blot: 1:5,000*
