This product is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.Clone 4E2 Form Purified Antibody (in PBS; no preservatives or carrier proteins) Host Spectrin Binding Protein Monoclonal Antibody (SIGNET)Mouse Species Reactivity Human, Rat, Mouse IsoType IgG2b [Ab] 1 mg/mL Specificity Signet’s anti- human spectrin binding protein (clone 4E2) was developed against the spectrin SH3 domain binding protein Hssh3bp1 (Ziemnicka-Kotula et al., 1998). Hssh3bp1 is a marker of macropinocytic vesicles and a potential regulator of macropinocytosis (Xu et al., 2000).
This antibody was developed against recombinant Hssh3bp1 (human spectrin SH3 domain binding protein 1).Uses This antibody is effective in immunoblotting, immunofluorescence (IF) and immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. - Western: 1:1,000-1:2,000
- IF: 1:100-1:500
- IHC: 1:40-1:100
Tissue Sections: Formalin fixed, paraffin embedded sections and frozen sections
Pretreatment: For optimal staining, the sections should be pretreated with an antigen unmasking solution such as Retrieve-All 1 (SIG-31910).
Incubation: Overnight at 4°C.
Notes Spectrin Binding Protein Monoclonal Antibody (SIGNET)Positive tissue (human): Prostate Storage Store at -20°C or below. Upon initial thawing, apportion into working aliquots and store at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to prevent denaturing the antibody. Do not store in frost-free freezers.
