INTRODUCTION

IL17 is a proinflammatory cytokine produced by activated T cells. IL-17 regulates the activities of NF-kappaB and mitogen-activated protein kinases. Interleukin-17 can stimulate the expression of IL6 and cycloozkgenase-2 (PTGS2/COX-2), as well as enhance the production of nitric oxide (NO). High levels of IL-17 are associated with several chronic inflammatory diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis and multiple sclerosis.

DESCRIPTION

IL17RB Human Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 514 amino acids (18-292a.a) and having a molecular mass of 57.2kDa (Migrates at 50-70kDa on SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions).
IL17RB is fused to a 239 amino acid hIgG-His-tag at C-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

FORMULATION

IL17RB protein solution (0.25mg/ml) containing phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.4) and 10% glycerol.

STABILITY

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks.
Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. 
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

PURITY

Greater than 85.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
