Background Information
Gr-1 is a 21-25 kD protein also known as Ly-6G/Ly-6C. It is a myeloid differentiation antigen belonging to the glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored protein and is mainly expressed on granulocytes and macrophages. The Clone RB6-8C5 antibody has unique properties and has been proven to be able to inhibit the binding of Clone 1A8 antibody, while the Clone 1A8 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with mouse Ly6G and has no reported cross-reaction with Ly6C.
