CD56是一种单次跨膜糖蛋白，亦称为神经细胞黏附分子（NCAM）、Leu-19或NKH1。该蛋白属于免疫球蛋白超家族成员，其140 kDa亚型表达于NK细胞与NKT细胞表面。CD56同时存在于大脑（小脑与皮层）及神经肌肉接头处。某些大颗粒淋巴细胞白血病、小细胞肺癌、神经源性肿瘤、骨髓瘤及髓系白血病也会表达CD56。该分子通过同亲性（与自身结合）及异亲性（与硫酸乙酰肝素结合）作用参与细胞间粘附过程。
