Mouse anti Salmonella enteritidis antibody, clone 10D9H recognizes a common antigenic determinant that is found in the LPS of Salmonella enteriditis (Group D), Salmonella typhimurium (Group B) and Salmonella paratyphi (Group A) . This antibody is thought to recognise the '0-12' antigen [2-D-mannose (1-4) I- ramnose (1-3)-D galactose] of salmonella LPS. A similar sequence is found in Group E, which may account for the weak cross reactivity observed with bacteria of this group.

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
