This group consists of two receptor subgroups specific for S1P and LPA respectively. EDG6 is the receptor for lysophospholipid sphingosine 1 phosphate (S1P). S1P elicits diverse physiological effect on most types of cells and tissues. EDG6 may be involved in cell migration processes that are specific for lymphocytes. |
