又称吡哆素。一种含吡哆醇或吡哆醛或吡哆胺的B族维生素。1936年定名为维生素B6。维生素B6为无色晶体，易溶于水及乙醇，在酸液中稳定，在碱液中易破坏，吡哆醇耐热，吡哆醛和吡哆胺不耐高温。维生素B6在酵母菌、肝脏、谷粒、肉、鱼、蛋、豆类及花生中含量较多。维生素B6为人体内某些辅酶的组成成分，参与多种代谢反应，尤其是和氨基酸代谢有密切关系。维生素B6长期缺乏会导致皮肤、中枢神经系统和造血机构的损害。动物缺乏维生素B6的症状为皮炎、痉挛、贫血等。单纯的维生素B6缺乏症在人类极少见。临床上应用
细胞色素b/f复合物(cytochrome b6-f complex)
类囊体膜上可分离出来的多亚基膜蛋白。它由四个多肽组成: 即细胞色素f、细胞色素b6、一个铁硫蛋白和一个分子量为17kDa的多肽。前三个都是电子载体。细胞色素f也是c型的细胞色素,与线粒体的细胞色素c1关系密切。该复合物位于基质面, 功能是参与电子传递。
