Poly-D-lysine hydrobromide salt has been used for:. As a coating on the culture plate, it is used to cultivate rat glial precursor cells (RGPCS). [1] Culture bottles and plates used for packaging and subculture of elongated cells [2]. Process the surface of the cover glass for cell attachment [3]. Poly-D-lysine polymer can be used to prepare surfaces for cell attachment. D-Lysine polymer can also be used for cells that digest poly-L-Lysine polymer and cause excessive uptake of L-lysine. It is recommended to use 0.5-1.0 mL of 0.1 mg/mL solution of this product as the substrate for cell culture to coat 25 cm2. The product with lower molecular weight has relatively lower viscosity, but the higher molecular weight form can provide more attachment sites per molecule. Biochemical/physiological effects Poly-L-lysine (PDL) hydrobromide salt is a non-specific adhesion factor for cells, which promotes adhesion between cells and solid matrix by enhancing the electrostatic interaction between negatively charged ions on the cell membrane surface and the culture surface. After being absorbed by the surface of cell culture, poly-D-lysine can increase the number of positively charged cell binding sites.
