The Millex®-GP Filter Unit (Sterile) is a medical device made of hydrophilic polyethersulfone (PES) membrane. It removes microorganisms, particles, precipitates, and undissolved powders larger than the membrane′s rated pore size (0.22 μm). These sterile syringe filters consist of a membrane filter sealed in a modified acrylic copolymer (MMA) housing.应用
Millex®-GP Filter Unit (Sterile) is suitable for use in:Research laboratories to sterilize and filter protein solutions, tissue culture media, additives, buffers, and water.
Clinical use: for removing microorganisms, particles, and larger undissolved powders from clinical solutions.
Hospital pharmacies to sterilize small volumes of protein drugs, diagnostic imaging agents, chemotherapeutics, aqueous solutions, or water during intravenous administration and admixture preparation.
Direct patient care to sterilize and remove particulate from epidural and other liquid anesthetics and irrigation solutions used in ophthalmic, otic and other surgical procedures.

文献和实验1.针头滤器的使用丁香园网友heyj的观点为：用滤膜孔径为0.22um的一次性针头滤器过滤胰酶，一次可以过滤100ml。如果想一次性过滤完可以准备1-2个备用的。注意在配胰酶溶液时尽量完全溶解，否则未溶的颗粒会堵住滤孔影响过滤速度。本人认为过滤效果与滤过的液体量无关。丁香园网友ssl3304的观点为：过滤0.25的胰酶，一次可以滤1L，没有问题的，培养基最多300-400ml，总之一定要充分溶解后再过滤。丁香园网友shaoqianqian的观点为：滤200ml培养液足够了，可是不能滤加
移液器吸取。 另外，SIGMA公司和其他公司的细胞培养专用DMSO，是经过除菌的，可以直接使用。 丁香园网友jjyyll的观点为：一般细胞培养的用液均需要无菌处理，DMSO或者无水乙醇或水溶解后加入培养的细胞用液更需要如此，不过DMSO是有机溶剂用一般的针头滤器就会将滤膜融解，如：要过滤DMSO溶解的DTZ，需要使用耐DMSO的Nylon材料滤膜（摘自生物谷）但如果是只作简单的验证或测量鉴定，也可以考虑不过滤而直接使用，因为不会大批量的细胞污染，相关资料也可以从生物谷中查找 4.33
