    蛋白质二硫异构酶又称细胞甲状腺激素结合蛋白脯氨酸 4-羟化酶
    亚基β、p55 和 P4HB，是一种外周膜蛋白，属于蛋白质二硫异构酶家族。
    P4HB 含量很高。在某些类型的细胞中，它似乎也分泌或与质膜有关，
    在那里它经历不断的脱落和细胞内来源的替换。P4HB 定位于淋巴细胞
    表面 cd4 富集区域附近。P4HB 通过质谱在 I 期至 IV 期的黑素小体组分
    中被鉴定。P4HB 降低并可能激活 HIV-1 gp12 表面蛋白的融合性，从而
    使 HIV-1 进入细胞。P4HB 催化二硫键的形成、断裂和重排。在细胞表
    面，它似乎是一种还原酶，能够裂解附着在细胞上的蛋白质的二硫键。
    P4HB 因此可能引起外表面蛋白的结构修饰。在细胞内，它似乎形成/
    重新排列新生蛋白质的二硫键。在高浓度下，作为伴侣蛋白，抑制错误
    折叠蛋白的聚集。在低浓度时，它有利于聚集(抗伴侣活性)。P4HB 可
    能与其 P4HB 他伴侣参与激素生物发生中 TG 前体的结构修饰。它也是
    各种酶的结构亚基，如脯氨酰 4-羟化酶和微粒体三酰基甘油转移蛋白
    MTTP。
