In Vitro: Thrombospondin-1 (1016-1023) (human, bovine, mouse) (4N1K; 100 µg/mL; for 60 min) treatment has induced both phosphatidylserine exposure and loss of cell membrane integrity in monocyte-derived immature dendritic cells (DCs). With peptide concentrations of 25-200 µg/mL, the number of annexin V+ cells increased with peptide concentration. Thrombospondin-1 (1016-1023) (human, bovine, mouse) reduces mitochondrial membrane potential and fragmented DNA in DCs.
