Cryopreserved Primary Human Hepatic Stellates are isolated from whole human livers that are not suitable for liver transplantation. The cell composition consists of a homogenous population of hepatic stellate cells and is characterized by viability, morphology, plating efficiency, and FACS analysis.

Applications
Novabiosis primary human stellates can be used in co-cultures, 3D cultures, for testing toxicity, drug metabolism, drug screening, cell-cell signaling, and fibrogenesis formation, among other uses.
