AF750 由 AAT Bioquest 制造，具有与 Alexa Fluor® 750 相同的化学结构（Alexa Fluor® 是 ThermoFisher 的商标）。 AF750 是一种鲜红色荧光染料。它是水溶性的，在 pH 4 至 pH 10 范围内对 pH 不敏感。AF750 的 NHS 酯（或琥珀酰亚胺酯）是将这种染料与蛋白质或抗体结合的最方便的胺反应形式。
