AF514 NHS 酯由 AAT Bioquest 制造，与 Alexa Fluor® 514 NHS 酯具有相同的化学结构（Alexa Fluor® 是 ThermoFisher 的商标）。它是一种亮黄色荧光染料，可用于替代罗丹明 6G，水溶性显着提高。 AF514 染料是水溶性的，在 pH 4 到 pH 10 范围内对 pH 不敏感。AF514 的 NHS 酯（或琥珀酰亚胺酯）是将 Alexa Fluor® 514 与蛋白质或抗体结合的最方便的胺反应形式。
