Drop-n-Stain EverBrite™ Mounting Medium is a wet-set antifade mounting medium optimally formulated for preserving fluorescence of our CF® dyes and other fluorochromes. The dropper bottle makes for quick and easy dispensing.
- Convenient dropper bottle for pipette-free mounting
- Protects fluorescent dyes from rapid photobleaching
- Compatible with cyanine-based fluorophores like Cy®3, Cy®5, and Alexa Fluor® 647, unlike VECTASHIELD®
- Available with or without DAPI for nuclear counterstaining
- Works as well as original EverBrite™, but less viscous for rapid DAPI staining
Drop-n-Stain EverBrite™ Mounting Medium is a wet-set medium that remains liquid. After mounting, coverslips can be sealed with nail polish or Biotium’s CoverGrip™ Coverslip Sealant (23005). Mounted slides can be stored at 4°C or -20°C, protected from light. Antibody-stained slides can be preserved for a year or longer (note: some labels, like phalloidin, are less stable during storage). Drop-n-Stain EverBrite™ Mounting Medium has a refractive index of 1.42.
We also offer EverBrite™ Hardset Mounting Medium, which cures overnight to form a hard seal, eliminating the need to seal the edges of the coverslips.
