是一种水溶性长链胺反应生物素化试剂。 磺基琥珀酰亚胺生物素与一种含有伯胺(- nh2)的化合物，包括小分子、蛋白质、抗体和其他生物大分子有效且不可逆地发生反应。磺基琥珀酰亚胺生物素包含一个生物素基团，一个伸长的烷基间隔臂和一个活性磺基琥珀酰亚胺酯。 这种生物素化合物是膜不透性的，非常适合细胞表面蛋白的生物素化。 该化合物可以直接加入到水缓冲反应中，也可以用高质量的分子生物学级溶剂、无水溶剂溶解,如DMSO DMF。
