本试剂盒可测动物血清（浆）、组织、唾液等样本中SA含量。唾液酸（SA）在氧化剂存在的情况下与5-甲基苯二酚形成紫红色络合物，吸光度符合比色定律，通过测定络合物吸光度与标准即可计算出唾液酸的含量。
唾液酸是神经氨酸,广泛存在动物组织及微生物中,是细胞膜糖蛋白和糖脂的重要成份,位于细胞膜糖蛋白及糖脂末端,参与细胞表面多种生理功能.恶性肿瘤表面糖蛋白和糖脂的结构及含量发生明显变化,可使多量的SA从癌细胞表面脱落进入血液,使血清SA升高.其含量的测定对某些先天性代谢障碍及Behcet综合症的研究具有重要意义。SA升高也是心血管疾病的危险因素之一。

注意事项：
1. 本试剂盒的检测试剂中含有萤光素酶，反复冻融会导致其逐渐失活。尽管经测试本试剂反复冻融5次对于其检测效果无显著影响，为取得良好的使用效果，*次解冻后可适当分装保存。反复冻融过程中，可能会导致检测试剂中出现少量沉淀，此时宜平衡至室温，并尽量溶解。如仍有残留的不溶物，可以离心去除后使用，经测试不会影响后续的检测效果。
2. 检测时需使用白色或黑色的96孔板或384孔板。如果使用普通透明的96孔板或384孔板，相邻孔之间会产生相互干扰。
3. 使用说明中提供了检测ATP标准品的方法，实际检测细胞活力时通常并不需要检测ATP标准品。

本试剂盒可测动物血清（浆）、组织、唾液等样本中SA含量。唾液酸（SA）在氧化剂存在的情况下与5-甲基苯二酚形成紫红色络合物，吸光度符合比色定律，通过测定络合物吸光度与标准即可计算出唾液酸的含量。
唾液酸是神经氨酸,广泛存在动物组织及微生物中,是细胞膜糖蛋白和糖脂的重要成份,位于细胞膜糖蛋白及糖脂末端,参与细胞表面多种生理功能.恶性肿瘤表面糖蛋白和糖脂的结构及含量发生明显变化,可使多量的SA从癌细胞表面脱落进入血液,使血清SA升高.其含量的测定对某些先天性代谢障碍及Behcet综合症的研究具有重要意义。SA升高也是心血管疾病的危险因素之一。
