RANTES 为调节活化正常 T 细胞表达与分泌的趋化因子，RANTES
具有多种不同的生物学功能，它不仅对多种细胞有趋化作用，还可以强
烈的激活淋巴细胞，参与炎症反应的发生，调节细胞的生长和分化，并
参与 HIV 和 AS 的发生。小鼠 RANTEScDNA 编码 91 个氨基酸残基多
肽前体分子，含有 23 个氨基酸残基，经剪切后产生 68 个氨基酸残基成
熟蛋白。小鼠 RANTES 与人 RANTES 有 84%的同源性。RANTES 来源
广泛，NK 细胞以及 T 细胞均可组成性地表达 RANTES，炎症反应中
CD8+T 细胞、上皮细胞、成纤维细胞和血小板均可分泌 RANTES；
RANTES 对多种白细胞如 T 细胞、单核细胞、自然杀伤细胞、嗜酸性粒
细胞和嗜碱性粒细胞具有趋化或刺激作用。
