概述

Murine CCL8,also known as monocyte chemotactic protein 2(MCP-2),is belonging to the CC chemokine family and is encoded by the gene CCL8 in mouse.MCP-2 has two homogeneous MCP-1(CCL2)and MCP-3(CCL7).These three MCPs were found by IL-1-beta triggered human MG-63 osteosarcoma cells.CCL8 shares 62%amino acid sequence identity with MCP-1,and shares 58%amino acid sequence identity with MCP-2.CCL8 has chemotactic fuction for monocytes,eosinophils and neutrophils.In addition,it can also chemoattract activated NK cells.
