绒[毛]膜促性腺激素chorionic gonadotropin
妊娠中的雌性哺乳类，不仅其脑垂体前叶分泌促性腺激素，而且胎盘的绒毛膜也可分泌。后者即称为绒毛膜促性腺（激）素。人的孕妇尿中的这种物质称 HCG（ human chorionic gonadotropin，人绒毛膜促性腺激素），成分为糖蛋白，分子量约为 30， 000，等电点 pH=2.95，由两个亚基构成。有类似促黄体激素的作用，给动物以 HCG后，幼小的小白鼠的卵巢即发育成熟，而家兔未交配即排卵。
