文献和实验3-羟基邻氨基苯甲酸 3-hydroxyanthranilic acid
色氨酸代谢的中间体，在犬尿酸酶的作用下，可从3-羟基犬尿酸生成。另外利用链孢霉的变种实验证明，它还能转变成吡啶 2， 3-二羟酸和尼克酸。在动物中几乎存在同样的代谢途径。另外， 3-羟基犬尿酸是果蝇眼睛色素、眼黄质（ xanthommatin）的前体物质。
