    基质金属蛋白酶，基质金属蛋白酶是一个大家族，因其需要 Ca、
    Zn 等金属离子作为辅助因子而得名。其家族成员具有相似的结构，一
    般由 5 个功能不同的结构域组成：（1）疏水信号肽序列；（2）前肽区，
    主要作用是保持酶原的稳定。当该区域被外源性酶切断后，MMPs 酶原
    被激活；（3）催化活性区，有锌离子结合位点，对酶催化作用的发挥
    至关重要；（4）富含脯氨酸的铰链区；（5）羧基末端区，与酶的底物
    特异性有关。基质金属蛋白酶 9（MMP-9）是人体内最重要的蛋白酶之
    一，属于基质金属蛋白酶超家族成员中明胶酶的一种，又称明胶酶 B，
    其主要功能是分解细胞外基质，参与人体许多生理及病理过程，该因子
    在基质金属蛋白本科组织抑剂（TIMPs）等，其作用底物主要是Ⅳ、V、
    VI、X 型胶原，明胶及弹性纤维。
