    晚期糖基化终产物受体(RAGE)是一种约 50 kDaⅠ型跨膜糖蛋白，属
    于免疫球蛋白(Ig)超家族，它可与多种配体结合，包括晚期糖基化终产
    物(AGEs)、β-淀粉样肽(Aβ)、HMGB 1/两性蛋白和若干 S 100 家族蛋白。
    AGEs 是由正常机体中蛋白质、脂质等营养物质在非酶糖基化作用及氧
    化作用下产生的，随着年龄的增长含量不断升高，在高血糖症诱发的糖
    尿病中 AGEs 的含量会加速升高。RAGE 在炎症反应、糖尿病、肿瘤和
    阿尔茨海默病(AD)等多种病理过程中起着重要作用。RAGE 胞外区包含
    319 个氨基酸，存在 3 个 Ig 样结构域，跨膜区由 21 个氨基酸组成，胞
    内区含有 41 个氨基酸。小鼠 RAGE 与人和小鼠 RAGE 的序列同源性分
    别为 79%和 91%。
