    小鼠 Resistin 是一种 11 kD 的富含半胱氨酸的多肽，是炎症相关因
    子家族的主要成员。小鼠 Resistin 基因定位于第 8 对染色体上，其 mRNA
    长度为 0.8kb。Resistin 蛋白前体由 114 个氨基酸组成，其中包含 20 个
    氨基酸组成的信号肽序列和 94 个氨基酸组成的成熟片段。其分子内部
    有 5 个二硫键及多个β-折叠结构。抵抗素是 RELM/Fzz 家族的成员，该
    家族包括四个分子，每个分子均有 10 个保守的半胱氨酸。抵抗素和
    RELMβ均有一个额外的半胱氨酸，可能参与同型二聚体二硫键的形成。
    成熟的小鼠抵抗素与小鼠 RELMα，β和γ的氨基酸同源性分别为 34%、
    42%和 40%。小鼠与大鼠的成熟段存在 72%的同源性。Resistin 产生于
    脂肪形成过程中，能抑制动物模型骨骼肌的葡萄糖摄取，Resistin 被认
    为在胰岛素信号通路中起一定作用，使胰岛素作用通路障碍而引发胰岛
    素抵抗，推测它可能是肥胖与 2 型糖尿病之间的中间环节。
