    CCL24 属于 CC 类趋化因子，是 Eotaxins 家族的成员,最初是从活化
    的单核细胞分离产生，而且主要表达在单核细胞。CCL24 由 78 个氨基
    酸组成，其分子量为 8.8×103，CCL24 的结构包括一个螺旋，随后是 3
    个反向平行的 B 片层和一个 a 螺旋，其基因位于第 17 号染色体的
    q21．1．21．2 区。CCL24 的趋化活性与 CCL11 相似，但氨基酸的同
    源序列只有 39％。CCL24 的趋化因子受体 CCR3 在炎症反应、过敏性
    哮喘等疾病中发挥着关键作用，是重要的药物靶点。通过阻断 CCR3 信
    号传导途径将有望大大缓解或彻底治愈炎症及过敏性哮喘等相关疾病。
    CCR3 受体表达于单核细胞、嗜酸性粒细胞及中性粒细胞，可与 Rantes
    ／CCL5、嗜酸细胞活化趋化因子及 MCP-3 相结合。
