Cystatin C 称半胱氨酸蛋白酶抑制剂 C，是一种非糖基化蛋白，分
子量为 13.359kDa，由有核细胞产生，在人体大部分组织中稳定表达，
广泛存在于各种体液中，在脑脊液和精液中的浓度最高。人的 cystatinC
基因片段位于 20 号染色体上,其基因序列在大多数组织中能稳定表达。
cystatinC 是半胱氨酸蛋白酶抑制剂超家族 2 中的一员。其生物学功能主
要是调节半胱氨酸蛋白酶活性。因其分子量小，能自由通过肾小球滤过
膜，几乎完全被肾小管重吸收且不被分泌，能很好的替代肌酐而成为一
种新的反映 GFR 的理想标志物。它不仅在肾脏疾病方面具有临床价值，
同时与肝脏疾病、糖尿病、肿瘤等具有一定的相关性。
