    CXCL4 是属于趋化因子中 CXC 家族，约含有 70 个氨基酸，分子
    质量约为 7.8kDa。其编码基因位于 4 号染色体长臂，长度约 1000 bp，
    含有 3 个外显子和 2 个内含子。成熟的人 CXCL4 与小鼠、大鼠、牛、
    羊和猪 CXCL4 的氨基酸序列同源性为 65-76%。CXCR3-B 为 CXCL4
    的受体，主要表达于微血管内皮细胞。CXCL4 具有较强的抗血管生成
    作用，通过整合蛋白依赖的途径影响血管的生成。CXCL4 在免疫调节
    中亦发挥重要作用，可抑制抗纤维化因子干扰素（INF）-γ的表达，上
    调促纤维化因子白介素（IL）-4 的表达。
