IL-23 属于 IL-12 家族成员，是一个由 p19 和 p40 亚基组成的异源二
聚体，p19 为 IL-23 所特有，p40 是 IL-23 和 IL-12 共有，1L-23 的受体
包括 IL-12 受体β1 和 IL-23 受体 2 个亚基，由活化的抗原提呈细胞包括
树突状细胞(DC)和巨噬细胞产生的 IL-23 主要通过与 IL-23 受体相互作
用，激活下游信号通路而发挥生物学功能，主要作用于 Thl7 细胞，是
Th17 细胞维持、分泌和记忆 T 细胞增殖的一种重要细胞因子，并能促
进 Thl7 细胞产生 IL-17A、IL-17F、IL-22 等细胞因子，参与多种疾病的
发生、发展。成熟的小鼠 p19 和 p40 亚基与大鼠相应的亚基分别具有 88%
和 92%的序列同一性.
