LS-F10350 is a 96-well enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the Quantitative detection of Human NGAL/MMP9 Complex in samples of Cell Culture Supernatants, Plasma, Saliva, Serum and Tissue Homogenates. It is based upon a Sandwich assay principle and can be used to detect levels of NGAL/MMP9 Complex as low as 0.029 nanograms per millilter.Specifications

This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of human NGAL/MMP-9 complex. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between human NGAL/MMP-9 complex and analogs was observed. Note: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross-reactivity detection between human NGAL/MMP-9 complex and all the analogs, therefore, cross reaction may still exist.

Upon receipt of an order each kit is assembled and tested to ensure that it meets specifications before shipping. Minor changes may occur to the Range, Sensitivity, and Precision. In the event of a significant change the order would be confirmed with the customer before shipping ELISA kit lot numbers reflect the date of final assembly and testing for each specific kit rather than a bulk manufactured lot. All kits are tested to confirm that they fall within their defined Inter- and Intra- assay coefficient of variation.

Background
This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for NGAL/MMP-9 complex has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any NGAL/MMP-9 complex present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for NGAL/MMP-9 complex is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of NGAL/MMP-9 complex bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
