文献和实验This antibody was produced in BALB/c mice. This antibody can be used to detect proliferating cells in living tissues after incubation with BrdU which will be incorporated into newly synthesized DNA of replicating cells (during the S phase of the cell cycle), in place of thymidine during DNA replication. Antibody binding requires prior denaturation of the DNA, by exposing the cells to acid or heat.
